The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food and beverage industry mainly working with pet and baby food. This company directly works with the major retailers nationwide. They are currently at key growth stage and have acquired a new site to enable their expansion.

About the role:

You will be reporting directly to the engineering manager and your responsibilities will include:

• Afternoon shift 2-10pm
• Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance on machinery (previous experience is a necessity)
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs on machinery
• Installing new equipment or production lines
• Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Your background and key skills/certifications:

• Australian Mechanical Cert 3 / Qualified Fitter and Turner or equivalent
• Strong fault finding and breakdown response capability
• Previous experience within FMCG or fast paced manufacturing
• Excellent understanding of GMP and HACCP principles
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team environment

What’s on offer:

• Salary band of $90,000 to $95,000
• Additional afternoon shift loading of 15%
