The Opportunity
We're seeking both a new grad and an experienced speech pathologist who want to be part of our mission to help connect regional Australian children and adults to their world through communication. By bringing wider health services to the Mudgee Region, you'll have the opportunity to make life-changing therapies accessible to a community eager for support.
Voted into Australia's Top Tourism Town Hall of Fame, Mudgee will give you access to a diverse caseload, facilitate the elusive work-life balance you've been looking for and ensure you're part of a close-knit and supportive team that wants to invest in your career.
As part of the Mudgee community, our small multidisciplinary team takes pride in being able to deliver the latest evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapies and programs - ensuring that every person who walks through our door gets the opportunity to live their optimal life.
Why Join Us?
Supportive team - We proudly offer a gradual onboarding program, peer mentoring, team clinical education and huge external professional development support ($10k + p.a.)*.
New Grad Mentorship - Through weekly supervision, you will be guided by a Speech Pathologist with 20+ years of experience to take you under their wing and say, ‘I’ve got you!' while you find your feet.
Diverse caseload - We support a wide range of clients including babies, children and adults across most areas of Speech Pathology practice. We also provide outreach services to First Nation peoples communities in the Central West.
Opportunity for specialisation - We know how great it is to find your sweet spot! If you'd like to hone in on a specific area of care, we'll support you to adjust your case load and further develop your skills to suit.
Dynamic care model - Each Speech Pathologist works with an in-house Allied Health Assistant and Teacher to provide collaborative care.
Leadership Pathways - Senior Speech Pathologists are offered opportunities to undergo clinical educator training or clinical specialist training.
Work-life balance - We offer flexible work arrangements, including the option of additional leave each year in school holidays. A 9-day fortnight or part-time work is negotiable.
Collaborative team culture - Join a team that are truly passionate about making a difference, who learn from each other and celebrate wins together.
Very attractive remuneration - We offer well above the industry standard renumeration with full leave and super entitlements, bonuses, and salary packaging. Sponsorship is available.
Administrative support - This means you can focus on providing high-quality clinical care.
