About the role

Join The Armstrong Wellness Agency' as a casual Support Worker Extraordinaire. In this role, you will provide compassionate and personalised care to our psychosocial clients in the Maylands WA 6051 region. With a focus on helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life, your duties will be varied and rewarding.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful activities and outings

Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other care professionals

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation

Adhering to all health, safety, and quality standards

What we're looking for

Experience and/or qualification in mental health or psychosocial issues including trauma and CPTSD, ASD, ADHD, and other mental health diagnoses

A genuine passion for supporting individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A current police check and First Aid certificate
