Household Assistant (Live-In Flexibility) – Private Residence

We’re looking for a warm, reliable and organised Household Assistant to support a professional family in their Sydney home. This is a unique role that blends childcare, home organisation and housekeeping - ideal for someone who thrives on keeping things running smoothly. The role includes access to private live-in accommodation for nights when staying over is helpful but you won’t be required to live in full time.

About You
You’re proactive, kind, and genuinely passionate about supporting children - whether through formal experience or in an informal family setting. Experience working with neurodiverse children is highly regarded. You take pride in being hands-on at home, from cooking nourishing meals to keeping things tidy and on track. Discretion and trust are essential in this role, along with a calm and capable presence that helps the household run smoothly. You must be a confident driver (vehicle provided), have the legal right to work in Australia, and hold or be willing to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check. Non-smokers only, please.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare
- Support for a high school-aged child
- School runs and afternoon routines
- Homework supervision and activity drop-offs
- Occasional evening babysitting

Home Support
- Light cleaning, tidying, and laundry
- Wardrobe and linen management
- Grocery top-ups and light errands
- Feeding and walking of the family dog

Cooking
- Preparing simple, nutritious dinners
- Kitchen organisation and meal planning

Driving
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Appointments, activities, and ad hoc errands
