The Role:
- Carry out a range of duties associated with maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation equipment, food disposal and waste management areas in a clean hygienic sate with the Launceston General Hospital (LGH).
- Ability to maintain all food service equipment and surfaces in a clean and hygienic state.
- Experience in floor cleaning, pot wash and the use of cleaning chemicals inside a production kitchen.
- Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions, and to cooperate with other personnel within the department to work successfully as a team.
- An understanding of, and ability to comply with, workplace health and safety requirements.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, shift worker, not working weekends but working Public Holidays, working 70 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as you can join the team.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $57,130 to $59,443 per annum, Pro Rata. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
