The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preventative, routine, and breakdown servicing and repairs on underground mining machinery
• Working hands on with Load Haul Dump (LHD) machines, graders, personnel transporters, longwall move equipment
• Diagnostics and fault-finding on diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Overhauling major components and ensuring fleet readiness
• Collaborating with a 60-strong crew (on track to grow to 170) in a state-of-the-art facility
• Maintaining clean records: pre-starts, WMS, JHAs, and safety documentation

What You’ll Bring:

✔️ Cert III in Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic or equivalent) - Open to upskilling from LV with the right attitude
✔️ Strong experience with underground equipment or heavy earthmoving machinery
✔️ Proven ability in engine diagnostics, component rebuilds, and schematic reading
✔️ Safety-first mindset – always
✔️ Experience in hydraulics/pneumatics highly regarded
✔️ DES ticket = a big bonus
