Our Childcare cook will be great at cooking nutritious meals and keeping our children well fed with a variety of tasty and healthy food.

You will be expected to be a good communicator, have a positive attitude and able to manage your own time and tasks. We expect that you will be reliable and be able to support our Educators. You will not be responsible for children, but you will have to have a working with children check and be safe to be around children.

At Explorers we expect our team to work with kind, inclusive and compassionate attitudes. We only employ people who are safe to work with children and adopt strict child safety practices.

Your hours of work will be:

Mon-Fri approximately 8am - 1pm +1hr for ordering

About You:

Great at organising and planning a variety of meals and meal times

Willingness to learn and be a part of the team

Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual

Ability to work on a time line to get tasks done quickly

High standards of cleanliess

Food Safety and handling certificate desirable

Previous cooking experience is preferable, however it does not need to be professional experience
