Data Migration Lead - ERP Transformation

Daily rate: $1,000 - $1,100 incl. superannuation
Contract length: 6 Months - highly likely to extend
Location: Brisbane / WFH (Hybrid)

Join a major digital transformation program at a pivotal stage as we replace our legacy systems with a modern ERP platform. We're seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead / Project Manager to take ownership of the data migration workstream, guiding a high-performing technical team and ensuring delivery excellence.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of the data migration stream in a significant ERP implementation. This includes oversight of a team of 9 data analysts and engineers, close collaboration with our third-party data migration partner, and direct accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and issue management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of all data migration activities
• Manage and support a team of 9 data professionals (analysts & engineers).
• Oversee our third-party data migration partner to ensure deliverables meet program standards.
• Own and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data migration.
• Work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment.
• Report progress and escalate issues to the Program Manager as required.

About You

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Project Manager on large-scale ERP implementations.
• Deep technical expertise in data migration approaches, strategies, and tools.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
