About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team at Organic Feast in East Maitland, NSW. Employment is casual working approximately 25+ hours per week, including weekend work. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced, vibrant café environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and others, to customer specifications

Operating and maintaining coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and other barista tools, to ensure consistent and efficient service

Providing excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all customers

Assisting with other café duties, such as food preparation, cash handling, and general housekeeping tasks like open and pack down shifts.

Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience working as a Barista in a busy café or restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roasting profiles, and preparation techniques

Available to work weekends

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services
