What you'll be doing
This is a wonderful opportunity to join our Occupational Therapy Department and contribute to leading a service with an in-reach sub acute model of care. The Service Model of Care is under ongoing development and provides a great opportunity for someone to build strong leadership skills and operate as a clinical leader within the Port Macquarie Base Hospital. We are looking for someone dynamic that works well within a strong multidisciplinary team framework and can contribute positively to our strong team culture. About you, do you have?
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Significant expertise in the planning, implementation and evaluation of occupational therapy service
- Advanced reasoning skills with the ability to apply professional judgement and evidence based practice in complex clinical situations
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills including consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

About Mid North Coast Local Health District
Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
MNCLHD is a non commercial government funded health organisation that provides quality health care at public hospitals in Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Kempsey, Macksville, Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
