In alignment with the WA Government’s Public Sector Reform (March 2025), this position will initially sit within DEMIRS but will join the newly formed Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration from 1 July 2025.
As the Economic Development Support Officer, you will support the Aboriginal Procurement Coordinator in strengthening the cultural responsiveness of procurement processes.
The role:
Undertaking contract research and analysis
Stakeholder mapping of aboriginal businesses
Assisting and coordinating regular information sessions
Providing general advice to business areas
