About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal Identified Program Manager to lead our Permanency Support Case Management Program. In this role, you will manage two Manager Caseworks and their team of Caseworkers, ensuring the growth and development of the program. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to Aboriginal children, families, and communities in line with KARI’s mission.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Oversee the Rosebery Permanency Support Case Management Program to meet service standards

Develop strategic PSP plans and make recommendations to senior management

Report on program performance and manage annual budgets

Review and manage staff performance, training, and development

Build and maintain relationships with funding bodies, community organisations, and external service providers

Manage change, improve PSP operations, and ensure compliance with financial reporting

Contribute to the development of NSW Government policy on Aboriginal community and children’s services

Requirements

Aboriginality

Working with Children's Check

NSW Driver’s Licence (minimum P2)

National Criminal History Check

Skills and Experience

Professional qualification in social work or related discipline

Managerial experience in Out of Home Care / PSP space, including staff supervision, system management, and budget control

Experience in service evaluation, development, and submission writing

Direct experience working with children, young people, and liaising with community partners and government departments

Knowledge of key legislation and practice issues relevant to Aboriginal children and families

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet navigation
