Wesley Hyperbaric invites applications for a Junior Administrator/Medical Receptionist position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team, focusing on enhancing our front-desk operations and patient care services.

About the Role:

We are searching for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our front-desk operations. This position is pivotal in ensuring smooth communication across all team members, managing billing, data entry, and ensuring booking & referral processes are efficient, thus supporting the daily operations of our unit.

This position operates on a Monday to Friday roster between 7am and 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking in-patient appointments for assessments, hyperbaric treatments and wound care

Managing and recording of all admissions (except for clinical coding)

Administration tasks relating to the running of a day hospital as directed by the senior admin and clinical team

Create a welcoming environment for both staff and patients.

Provide administrative support to clinical staff.

Skills & Experience:

Understanding of private health fund, DVA, private billing, and Medicare claiming processes.

Experience in a hospital, day hospital, or specialist setting would be advantageous.

Exceptional communication skills are essential.

Strong customer service skills, ensuring patients feel supported.

Proficiency in O365 apps.

Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to embrace change and handle various tasks as required.
