About the role

Mt Coolum Hot Bread is seeking an experienced Oven Person/Baker to join our team in our bakery located in Mount Coolum, Queensland. This is a full-time position responsible for operating and maintaining our bakery ovens to ensure the consistent production of high-quality baked goods.

What you'll be doing

Operating and maintaining commercial bakery ovens to bake a variety of bread, pastries and other baked goods

Monitoring oven temperatures and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal baking conditions

Unloading and transferring baked goods to cooling racks

Cleaning and sanitising ovens, work surfaces and equipment as per health and safety regulations

Assisting with other bakery production tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as an Oven Person or Baker in a commercial bakery environment

Strong knowledge of baking techniques and oven operations

Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality and food safety

Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Must able to work on evening time 6 days ,must on weekend and public holidays as required
