Ellett Contracting are a boutique Civil Construction company based in Fremantle with works throughout regional WA. Primarily working in the Agricultural sector we provide a full turnkey project delivery service including Civil, Concrete, Mechanical, and Structural design, supply and install. In this role you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard across regional locations.

80% site based role, 13:8 roster

Standard Monday- Friday when not on site

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisor/ leading hand role within the Civil Construction sector

Job Role:

· Supervise, prepare and organise building, excavations, formwork/concrete and general construction activities

· Fully own and understand the multiple construction processes in one project

· Responsible for overseeing and managing the site crew and sub-contractors

· Compliance with Australian Standards and client specific specifications

· Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying potential growth opportunities

· Attend various sites and rural locations to scope new project works

· Work closely with project/ operations manager to ensure all works and new projects are scheduled and allocated on the company project schedule

· Complete and a have solid understanding of all QA/QC documentation and processes

· Implement and maintain HSEQ standard on site

About You

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in civil construction supervision, with mechanical experience being an advantage. You will enjoy leading teams and possess exceptional communication and problem solving skills.

Skills and Experience:

· Technical knowledge of construction, building and civils processes

· Carpentry Trade Certificate or Mechanical trade

· Diploma of Building and Construction (desirable)
