About the role

The Senior Podiatrist will deliver culturally safe and responsive high level Podiatry generalist services working to full scope across multiple clinical areas, including adult and paediatric populations across inpatient, aged care and outpatient settings, with a particular emphasis on high-risk feet. You will be a part and working amongst a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks/ 3 months with potential extension
Accommodation and travel provided
Caseload: Rural generalist, with a particular emphasis on high-risk feet, outreach to nearby communities
Working hours: Mon - Fri, 38-40 hrs per week

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide evidence-based podiatry services especially around patients with high-risk foot.

· Podiatry assessment, planning and evaluating interventions for clients with chronic and complex health conditions.

· Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.

· Complete timely and accurate documentation.

To be successful in the role you will have:

· Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent)

· Current general AHPRA registration (essential)

· Australian working rights (essential)

· Australian drivers' licence

· National Police Clearance

· Min 5 years' experience in the field
