Qualifications & experience
Qualified and Licensed Electrician.
Industrial control experience will be highly regarded.
Good Mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
Fault Finding experience (both on site and via remote telemetry)
Broad understanding of Program Logic Controller and Instrumentation operation and troubleshooting
Experience with commercial site safe work practices
Australian Citizenship required
Full Australian driving license
Abiltity to obtain a clear National Police Check, required for some sites.
Experience with maintenance software systems.
Competent with the Microsoft suite including outlook, excel & MS teams.
Drive & Energy to go above and beyond for the business and customers. Professional approach able to represent the company to a high standard. Great team player with strong inter-personal skills. Willing to work flexible hours and to travel when required.
Tasks & responsibilities
Self motivated, energetic & independent. You will be a self-motivated and driven individual who is committed to environmental sustainability and can help us ensure that our customer promise of seamless product installation and operation is fulfilled.
Service: One of the key value propositions for customers considering using the WasteMaster technology is the seamless delivery and on-going operation of the system. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, fault-finding, service and maintenance requirements of the WasteMaster.
Customer interaction: The Installation and Service Technician will be involved in the key operation aspects of the business to ensure that the necessary after sales support can be delivered. You will be required to build relationships with current and new customer contacts.
IT & Portal: Although predominantly technical in the first instance, the role will consist of a mix of in-field and office-based activities. You will be trained on the WasteMaster portal and assist with remote technical troubleshooting of the Wastemaster fleet in the designated region.
Liase with third-party service contractors and component manufacturers where required
Assist with on-site operational training and facilitate the on-site roll out
Contribute to the continual improvement of maintenance and operational processes and documentation
Contribute to continual improvement in Health, Safety and Environment practices
Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development. Keen to accept responsibility and accountability.
Desire to have a positive impact on the environment - shared vision with the company.
