Daryl Dickenson Transport is a medium sized family-owned business that specialise in the transportation of steel products intrastate and interstate. Our warehouse team also conduct container unpacks, storage of products for clients and the loading/unloading of trailers.

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced forklift operator/store person to join our team based at Carole Park.

This is a is a full-time permanent role (option to commence as casual initially).

The shifts are between the hours of 6am - 6pm, start & finish times vary day-to-day, and Saturday work is available as required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Unpack products from containers

Forklift operation

Load/unload trailers

Picking and packing of goods

Transport documentation

Housekeeping of the warehouse

This position is physically demanding, and you must have the ability to multitask.

We are currently equipped with forklifts ranging from 3 tonne to 18 tonne.

Requirements for the role

Hold a current forklift licence & relevant forklift experience

Physically fit

Punctual & reliable

Safety focused

Container unpack experience (an advantage)

Overhead crane & steel experience (preferred)
