At Jump Carey Early Development, every child’s journey begins with care, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Jump Carey Early Development Services was created by Carey Baptist Church in 2008 as a service to families and children, inspired by the love and goodness of God. The Church had a desire to launch an early learning facility through which children and families could experience the love of God. A service that would partner with families and carers in the emotional, social, intellectual, physical and spiritual development of their children.

Since its start in 2007, Jump is now one of the leading early development services in Western Australia, currently offering services in Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care, and Vacation Care and plans to continue to develop

The Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced and inspiring leader who is passionate about the early years, to lead and enable our next chapter: Someone who brings the heart of an educator, the creativity of an innovator, and a deep commitment to creating nurturing environments where children, families, and staff flourish together.

The purpose of this position is to:

Provide leadership and strategic oversight for all Jump Services, ensuring high-quality, values-driven education and care that exceeds regulatory standards.

Shape the strategic expansion of new services, ensuring they align with the Carey mission and vision, organisational objectives and long-term growth plans.

Instil and embed the vision and mission of Jump into our staff, and to continue to invest in and develop a strong culture shaped by the Carey values of Respect, Courage, Integrity, Humility and kindness.

Who You Are

You have proven leadership experience in large or multisite childcare services.

You demonstrate a confident and compassionate leadership style that balances empathy with decisive action to lead service excellence.

You are a strategic thinker with good financial acumen and operational expertise.

You excel in interpersonal and communication skills, fostering meaningful connections with staff, families, and the wider community.

You understand the power of a story to change perspectives and connect people.

You have an exceptional understanding of sector regulations, compliance, and best practices, ensuring excellence in every aspect.

You have the capacity to lead, demonstrate and share the mission of Jump and of Carey as a reflection of the love of God in and for the world.
