About the role

Mortgage Choice Lismore is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Loan Admin to join our team on a part-time basis, 30 hours per week. This is a pivotal role in supporting our mortgage broker and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers. Based in our Lismore office, you will play a crucial part in the mortgage application and administration process.

What you'll be doing

Providing administrative support to our mortgage broker throughout the loan application and settlement process

Preparing and processing mortgage application documents, including gathering and verifying information

Liaising with lenders, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely progression of loan applications

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

Assisting with the preparation of loan submissions and related correspondence

Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a loan administration or mortgage processing role, preferably within the financial services industry, but not essential. Previous admin support experience is desirable.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using mortgage and loan processing software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite. Must have proficient computer skills

A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
